A snowfall warning is in effect for Highway 3 near Kootenay Pass, with total accumulations of 15 to 25 centimetres expected. The snow began early Tuesday and is forecast to continue through Wednesday morning as a frontal system moves through the B.C. Conditions are expected to improve as the system passes later Wednesday.
