My Lloydminster Now
Saskatchewan is rolling out its virtual access to addiction medicine (VAAM) program to three communities including Lloydminster, Nipawin and Cumberland House.
Residents on the Alberta-side of Lloydminster already have provincial virtual addictions support.
The service will also be available through all detox and treatment centres across Saskatchewan.
In Alberta, you may call 1-844-383-7688 for the Virtual Opioid Dependency Program (VODP).
Virtual careThe VAAM program is designed to make addiction care more accessible by connecting people with clinicians through videoconferencing or telephone.
