Le Carnaval is back for the 63rd year in North Bay.
Officials say the flagship winter event brings the community together through celebration, culture, and winter fun.
“I really want to stress this is a celebration of Francophone culture where everyone is welcome,” says Anne Brûlé, Director of Programming with Les Compagnons des francs loisirs.
“There’s things happening in River Valley, Sturgeon Falls, North Bay, Bonfield, Astorville and Mattawa over the next four weeks.”That’s all ahead of Le Carnaval early next month.
“We’ve even got an ice fishing tournament this year.”For more information, visit the Carnaval page on Les Compagnons’ website.
