The ribbon is set to officially be cut at the G. Tackaberry and Family Home in Athens.
Scheduled for next Wednesday, the ceremony will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and include a ribbon cutting, guided tours and speeches.
Organizers say approximately 50 dignitaries, elected officials, project team members and senior staff from the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville will be in attendance.
The redevelopment project is a three-story, six-wing building.
It’s located on the Maple View Landings property and is the largest capital construction initiative the united counties history.
