Police say most of the close to 100 collisions they were called to during our latest blast of winter involved vehicles sliding into the ditch. East Region OPP say the crashes happened between midnight and 11:15 a.m. Monday with most involving either no or minor injuries. If you are heading out, police are asking you to check for updated road conditions and make sure to give yourself extra time and adjust your driving to match the conditions. Check your windshield washer fluid before you hit the road and top it up. If you find yourself behind a working snow plow police say you should stay there as they are working to make the roads safer for you.
