Think Turtle Conservation Initiative has submitted their environmental recommendations to the planning firm overseeing the application for a proposed new quarry in Faraday. Think Turtle’s recommendations focus around information contained in Wills’ natural environment report. Kelly Wallace of Think Turtle said they are not formally endorsing or opposing the application. Wills has confirmed that they have received and reviewed Think Turtle’s letter, and that all comments on the proposal will be compiled in a comment summary document. Think Turtle’s letter acknowledges the importance of balancing environmental conservation with economic development.
