Tourism leaders and area businesses are set to gather in Bancroft tomorrow for a mix and mingle event hosted by the Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization (OHTO). The midday networking event will feature the OHTO Board of Directors, staff and tourism professionals from across Ontario’s Highlands. She added her OHTO is entirely rural and covers the second largest geographic area in the province. Whiting emphasized networking opportunities are crucial, given the high level of tourism dependence among rural businesses. The OHTO is one of 11 regional tourism boards in Ontario.
