Nicole Labelle-Lajeunesse say she and her neighbours in more than 70 trailers at Fairway Village on Moneta Ave. are all stressed out. They’ve been told by the landowner, Discovery Silver, that they must move out by the end of January, 2028. “There’s nowhere in Timmins where we can go,” she remarks, saying apartments and houses are too expensive. She and her husband have lived there for more than 30 years, raised their two sons in the park and planned to retire there. The company has offered some help, including moving trailers to other parks.
