Fundraising to help the family who lost their home and two of their members to a house fire in Nahma, south of Cochrane, on Saturday night is going well. The Cochrane Food Bank and Thrift Store supplied immediate needs in terms of food and clothing, says manager Ardis Proulx. Several other family members are still hospitalized. Food bank manager Ardis Proulx says they need certain equipment in order to leave hospital. So it’s very gracious that we have such a good community that comes together in a crisis like this.”The food bank will continue accepting financial donations until the end of the week.
