North Bay Fire and Emergency Services has responded to three oscillating fan fires in the past six months. That’s led them to remind people not to leave the fans running for a prolonged period of time. “We’re very concerned about this latest string of oscillating fan fires,” says Steve Vibert, Interim Deputy Chief. “Leaving these types of fans on for days at a time is unsafe for everyone in your home.
