Plans are underway to bring live music, arts and culture to the waterfront again this summer. The city is putting out the call for local performers, artists, and entertainers to showcase their talents, with submissions open for both the Summer Concert Series and Arts and Culture Nights. The Summer Concert Series takes place on select Wednesday evenings (June 17 to Sept. 9) while Arts and Culture Nights take place on select Tuesday evenings (June 23 to Sept. 3). Officials say these events attract thousands of residents and visitors to the waterfront each summer and provide the opportunity for local talent to be seen and heard. A committee will review submissions and select performers for the season, with selected artists to be compensated for their performances.
