The North Bay Police Service is conducting a real-time emergency response training exercise in the city on Wednesday (Jan. 28). Officers will be in the vicinity of the former E.W. Norman Public School and Widdifield Secondary School buildings. Officials say the training exercise will take place throughout the day and will not result in any road closures. They add the public should not be alarmed by an increased presence of emergency personnel and vehicles in the area, or if they see officers in tactical gear or police drones operating nearby.
