Two Minden residents are facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation by Haliburton Highlands OPP. Police say on Jan. 6, members of the Haliburton Highlands OPP and OPP Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a location on Parkside Street in Minden. Police seized 63.5 grams of suspected fentanyl, nine grams of suspected cocaine, $195 and two shotgun shells. As a result of the investigation, a 69-year-old woman and 46-year-old man are each facing three charges, including possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained. Both accused are slated to appear in court in Minden at a later date.
