A month-long celebration of culture, live music and local talent is set to get underway in the Haliburton Highlands. The 2026 February Folk Festival, hosted by the Haliburton County Folk Society, is slated to run from February 1 to 28. Officials say the festival will feature an exciting lineup of performers, from folk and acoustic, to pop, blues, rock and operate, spread across a variety of venues, including the Haliburton Legion, Dominion Hotel, and Minden Curling Club. “We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible musical talent of the Highlands and offer visitors and residents meaningful experiences throughout February,” said Angelica Ingram, Tourism Manager for the County of Haliburton. According to officials there will be open jam nights, songwriter circles, winter square-dancing, pop-up performances and music filed family friendly afternoons.
