Bimaajitoon Search and Rescue receives Project Lifesaver training

Four members of Bimaajitoon Search and Rescue successfully completed their instructor level Project Lifesaver training earlier this month.
With training complete, Bimaajitoon Search and Rescue is now able to run the Project Lifesaver Program in West Parry Sound and the Almaguin Highlands.
“We are very excited to be taking on the agency role for Project Lifesaver for the Parry Sound District,” said Jordan Pennington, Bimaajitoon Operations Manager.
“We see Project Lifesaver as another layer of safety for families and clients while also adding to our abilities to assist during missing person searches,” said Pennington.
Bimaajitoon Search and Rescue is part of the Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association and assists the OPP in missing person searches, rescues, emergency management and disaster response when called upon.4For more information visit https://projectlifesaver.org/
