The West Parry Sound Ontario Health Team and its partners are working to make it easier for people across the region to access primary care.
Those in the community losing their family doctor or nurse practitioner are urged to sign up for Health Care Connect, in order to be matched with a new care provider.
Those in the community who currently do not have a primary care provider are encourages to use CareBridge for short-term primary care, while they wait to be connected to a permanent provider.
A nurse-practitioner-led virtual clinic for anyone in West Parry Sound who needs care, whether or not they have a primary care provider.
The group of partners working together under the guidance of the West Parry Sound Ontario Health Team include: Parry Sound Family Health Team, Belvedere Heights, Hospice West Parry Sound, Lakeland Long-Term Care, the West Parry Sound Health Centre, and Canadian Mental Health Association Muskoka Parry Sound.
