Stepping Stones Crisis Society has announced that its Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Melissa Francis, effective December 4. “To ensure the continuity of our operations and programs, the Board has appointed Jody Hawkridge as Interim CEO, effective immediately,” read the release. “To provide safety, support, and hope to women, children, and families impacted by violence and trauma. The community can be assured that our services will continue without interruption.”The Board of Directions will be launching a comprehensive recruitment process for a new CEO soon.
