St. Paul RCMP responded to multiple driving-related incidents on December 31, as officers dealt with impaired and unsafe driving throughout the night. “Police responded to ten calls for service that evening, leading to several charges between them,” reads the release. Charges laid included three counts of impaired operation of motor vehicle over 80mg%, two counts driving while suspended, flight from peace officer, open container within reach of driver, open container within reach of passenger and driving carelessly. RCMP is reminding everyone to make responsible choices and to not drive impaired. “Impaired driving is entirely preventable, and with a little planning, you can ensure everyone arrives home safely,” concluded the release.
