Cold Lake city council has approved funding for four community groups recommended by the Community Grand Advisory Committee. “It is encouraging to see such a diverse and active base of community groups that continue to host successful events and find success,” said Mayor Bob Mattice. The Cold Lake Black Community Association was approved for a $2,500 Arts, Culture and Heritage Grant in support of its year end community celebration. The Cold Lake Music Festival Association was approved for a $1,500 Arts, Culture Heritage Grant for the 2026 Music Festival, set to be held form March 17 to March 26. “Council is very appreciative of the work that the Community Grant Advisory Committee members do,” Mattice said.
