The Town of St. Marys is cleaning up the streets after continuous heavy snowfall, with crews set to be out from 2 a.m. until 6 a.m. on Wednesday. Areas include Queen Street from Water Street to Peel Street, Water Street from Jones Street to the bridge, Wellington Street from Jones Street to the bridge, and Church Street from Jones Street to the bridge. Teams will clean out critical snow storage areas, performing blowbacks where possible and remove snow from cul-de-sacs. The town asks to refrain from parking on the street overnight, in accordance with a traffic, parking and boulevard maintenance by-law. Crews will also clean up parking lots on Water Street North, Jones Street East, Elgin Street East, the Opera House lot and Well 2 on Thursday from 3:30 a.m. to 6 a.m.
