The Local Community Food Centre have Perth County paramedics to thank for a sizeable donation to the organization.
A $2,500 boost will help support the centre’s efforts to solve local food insecurity.
The Paramedic Services’ Mobile Integrated Health Team (MIH) have built a relationship with the centre.
The county said the team hosts clinics in the region to support vulnerable people on a weekly basis.
The county added the donation came through the Paramedic Services’ Community Care Fund, which allows community members to support local paramedics.
