BUCKEYE LAKE — One of the lake community’s biggest winter traditions returns this weekend as Winterfest 2026 and the 12th annual Polar Plunge draw visitors for a full slate of cold‑weather festivities. The celebration continues Sunday with the 12th annual Polar Plunge, held at Buckeye Lake Winery at 11 a.m. on Feb. 1. Participants will take a quick jump into the frigid waters of Buckeye Lake to raise money for the United Way Foundation.
