On Thursday, the Portland City Council Climate, Resilience, and Land Use Committee will host an in-depth discussion about some of the ideas that have been put forward for how to spend that money.
Dubbed “Bikeable Portland,” this plan is only in a conceptual phase.
It’s based off a 2024 memo from Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) Bicycle Coordinator Roger Geller.
At this very early, conceptual stage, PBOT sees Bikeable Portland as a three-year plan.
That would bring us up to 2030 — the end date for the Bicycle Plan we adopted 20 years ago.
