According to a post shared on Facebook by the Wisbech British Democrats, concerns have been raised about properties at Roman Court, in Leverington. "Fears are growing that squatters have broken in and are no living there," the group claimed. It alleged that residents have "seen men coming and going from Roman Court" with "sightings" of "cans of petrol being taken inside and the noise of a generator running inside". Cambridgeshire Police said it had received these reports and has spoken to the owner of the properties. Roman Court was formerly owned by Clarion Housing until it closed the site 2020 despite a campaign to save it.
