Families earning up to $100,000 will see all costs eliminated, while those making up to $200,000 will receive enough aid to cover tuition. Yale previously offered free tuition to families earning up to $75,000 since 2020. Zoom out: Other top universities like Harvard, MIT, and the University of Pennsylvania have announced similar free tuition plans for families earning $200,000 or less, effective in the 2025-26 academic year. Emory University will also provide free tuition to families under the $200,000 income threshold beginning this fall.
