Discussions focused on bilateral relations and Rwanda’s socio-economic transformation since the end of 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Rwanda and Namibia have for long cemented bilateral relations in different areas. For instance, in March 2023, Namibian officials visited Rwanda to learn how the country’s parliament operates, and how senators and deputies represent their constituents. Namibia and Rwanda enjoy bilateral cooperation in the areas of security.
