Mr Bannatyne donated £746 to the donation page set up to honour the memory of Sofia Savage, which is now nearing the £15,000 mark, just over a week since it was launched. The businessman's family has also been donating with three of Mr Bannatyne's daughters giving money. Eve Bannatyne is the second biggest donor by giving £200, while Jenny and Abi Bannatyne both donated £100. The Savage family, from Kendal, confirmed the donation came from the gym group owner and Christopher Savage, Sofia's father, messaged Mr Bannatyne to say thank you and he received a 'lovely' response. As well as the GoFundMe page, there will also be a fundraiser for Sofia at The Station Inn at Oxenholme on January 31, with local singer Hayden Sorrenson taking to the stage for Singing for Sofia.
