On Tuesday night, popular New Westminster restaurant Ki Sushi was the victim of a fire. New Westminster Fire and Rescue Services (NWFRS) shared that they were dispatched just past 10 p.m. for a structure fire on 8th Street and Carnarvon. Additionally, NWFRS shared that the cause of the fire is currently under investigation and that crews remain on scene to monitor hotspots. “Ki Sushi is an award-winning Japanese restaurant with strong roots in the New Westminster community,” wrote the restaurant on its website. We been monthly delivery patrons for the past 30 years; literally ordered our usual combos last night!” wrote one user.
