Applications for the 2026 Vegetable Transplant Program are now open to commercial vegetable producers until Feb. 16. The Vegetable Transplant Program offers eligible commercial farmers access to high-quality, low-cost vegetable seedlings. This helps farmers increase the amount and variety of produce they grow and helps with earlier harvests, which is important given our short, cool growing season. In 2025, the Vegetable Transplant Program grew four million vegetable transplants, which were provided to 127 farmers.
