During the meeting, DC took a comprehensive review of the arrangements to be put in place to ensure smooth and seamless conduct of the upcoming annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025. Additionally they were asked to ensure measures to combat water logging issues, if any caused due to inclement weather. Regarding transports & parking facilities, the concerned Officers briefed the DC about the arrangements being made for parking of buses ferrying the Yatries. DC also stressed on the installation of signages at Panthachowk yatra transit camp to provide information to the yatries regarding nearby facilities, control room contact numbers etc. Meanwhile, DC passed directions to set up an Emergency Operation Centre for inter-departmental coordination and proper management of the yatra-2025.
