CBS 58WAUKESAH COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Court of Appeals denied Darrell Brooks' latest attempt for an extension Tuesday, to appeal his conviction in the 2021 Waukesha Christmas parade attack.
Brooks was sentenced to multiple life sentences after he was found guilty of driving his car into the parade back in 2021, killing six people and injuring dozens more.
Brooks has requested and has been granted multiple extensions in order to appeal his conviction.
Court records show in November of 2025, the court granted an extension to Jan. 7, with no further extensions to be granted.
It's unknown at this time if this closes the door entirely on Brooks' ability to file an appeal.
