Charles MaroltCharles L. Marolt, Jr., affectionately known as “Speedy,” embarked on his final journey on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy as vibrant and multifaceted as his nickname suggests. Speedy’s battle with cancer was one marked by resilience and a profound love for life, which shone through even during his most challenging moments. Throughout his life, Speedy held dearly to his family, especially his mother, whom he took remarkably good care of, ensuring her comfort and happiness. In addition to his parents, Charles and Joann Marolt, Speedy is preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Marolt. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery in Crooksville next to his father.
