The Independent Film & Television Alliance has set the 2026 American Film Market for Nov. 10-15 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles where it unspooled this past fall after a controversial one-year detour to Las Vegas.
It will be the first AFM under the leadership of Jackie Brenneman as IFTA’s chief executive as longtime CEO Jean Prewitt steps down.
“AFM has long served as a premier global marketplace where the film and television industry, representing more than 85 countries, comes together to foster relationships, discover new independent projects destined for audiences around the world, and drive meaningful dealmaking.
Building on the momentum of last year, we approach AFM 2026 with optimism and a clear focus on delivering a Market that reflects the strength of this community and actively supports its future,” he said.
