Mark Santia was first to announce that the agents were put on leave on MSNOW.
Sources confirmed to him that the two agents who fired the shots have met with a mental health professional and been given a 3-day administrative leave.

Border Patrol confirmed that the officers have been on leave "since Saturday," and added it was "standard protocol."
