He explained that the Kedai Jujur (Honest Shop) concept is based on a long-standing practice in Sabah society, where unmanned stalls are set up with goods and payment boxes, relying on the honesty of buyers.
“This culture became the foundation for Program Kedai Jujur in schools, so that the value continues to live on among the younger generation,” he said.
“Program Kedai Jujur (Honest Shop Programme) is the best platform for pupils to practise integrity values every day.
“The concept of Kedai Jujur (Honest Shop) can serve as an early barrier to prevent acts of dishonesty among school pupils,” he said.
