The new initiative under the Madani government, sets the price of RON95 petrol from the RM2.05 per litre, to RM1.99 per litre effective this Sept 30. Chen Lim, a local resident in his 40s, hailed Budi95 as proof of Putrajaya’s commitment to supporting the low and middle-income families during these challenging times. He hoped that the Budi95 programme could be expanded further, potentially bringing the RON95 petrol price down to RM1.70 per litre. “There are some people who have to commute daily between Limbang and Lawas, passing Brunei’s Temburong District, for work; thus, this Budi95 scheme is a relief.”
