Its president Datuk Dr Thirunavukarasu Rajoo in a statement yesterday said that investing in nurses was investing in the nation’s health. “Nurses form the bedrock of patient care in our health system. By ensuring stability and a clear future for our nurses, the public will also benefit. “A motivated nursing workforce means better continuity of care, shorter waiting times, and higher quality services for patients across the board,” he said. “By strengthening all three pillars, we can retain more nurses, inspire more young Malaysians to join the profession, and ensure our patients continue to receive the best possible care.”He added MMA urged continued and sustained investment in the nation’s healthcare human resources, as a resilient healthcare system depends first and foremost on its people.
