NEW DELHI, Sept 28: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited ( BSNL) in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) and Tejas Networks Limited unveiled the “Bharat Telecom Stack” which is a modern, secure solution designed and developed entirely in India, an official statement said.
The nationwide rollout of our indigenous 4G net work, built on the strength of collaboration with TCS, Tejas Network with C-DOT, is a resounding declaration of an Aatmnirbhar Bharat.
Moreover, with this launch India becomes the fifth country in the world to have a self-reliant, indigenous telecom technology stack supporting 4G and beyond.
This Swadeshi 4G technology, a result of brilliant innovation by C-DOT, Tejas, TCS and tireless efforts of BSNL’s workforce is engineered for excellence and stability.
It was completed within two years making it one of the fastest 4G network deployments with full integration into the existing 2G/3G network infrastructure at BSNL, said official statement.
