Arsenal expect Noni Madueke to miss six to eight weeks with the knee injury sustained in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Sunday. However, the 23-year-old England winger is not believed to have suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. The summer signing from Chelseawas substituted at half-time of the Premier League match with Cityand has been having tests to discover the severity of the problem. The news is a major blow to Arteta and England head coach Thomas Tuchel given Madueke’s promising start to the season. If Madueke is unavailable for that game and the international break, he could return for the north London derby versus Tottenham on 23 November.
