Celtic were held to a goalless draw by Hibernian at Celtic Park, a result that left Brendan Rodgers frustrated but not overly downbeat. Speaking after the match, Rodgers admitted the draw was disappointing but insisted he was pleased with much of the performance. He said: (BBC Sport), “I can’t affect it now (lack of transfers), so it’s irrelevant. Rodgers’ insistence that recruitment is “irrelevant” won’t do much to settle those doubts.
