Three children killed and five injured in Laghari area of Bajaur when explosive material left behind by extremist militants detonated. The children were playing with the explosive devices abandoned by the terrorists when the blast took place. Prompt action by the Pakistan Army resulted in the injured children being airlifted to Peshawar via helicopter. Previously, in the Tirah Valley, similar explosions of stored explosives by these terrorists resulted in the deaths of several innocent civilians and 14 militants. With the cooperation of the local community, the Pakistan Army remains committed to clearing Bajaur of all explosive hazards.
