A man aged 50 was found dead in his house after he had been assaulted in Embali village, Vihiga County. The motive of the attack was not immediately known but police said the deceased had mentioned those behind the same before he succumbed in his house. The hunt for the three men that the deceased mentioned as his attackers is ongoing, police said. In Lumakanda, Kakamega County, police detained a man after he took his girlfriend to a hospital where she died. Police detained the man pending investigations and including an autopsy on the body of the woman.
