He was appointed Waterford boss in May as a replacement for Keith Long, who was in charge for just over two years. A statement on Coleman's departure was released on Sunday morning, reading: "Waterford FC can confirm Head Coach John Coleman and Assistant Coach Danny Ventre have left the club with immediate effect.
