Gardaí made the grim discovery of a father and daughter dead in their home - in a suspected murder suicide in Finglas, West Dublin on Saturday night. Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene of the suspected murder suicide in the Heathfield estate near Cappagh Hospital at around 8pm. It is understood officers were alerted to the suspected suicide of a man and the suspicious death of his six-year-old child inside the home. Gardaí found no sign of a break in or any third party involvement - but at this point are said to be keeping an open mind. However, indications are that a tragic murder suicide incident occurred.
