LEOMINSTER — Ghosts, goblins, princesses and more will fill downtown when the City of Leominster hosts its annual Halloween Parade at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
Following the parade, trick-or-treating will take place along Main Street from Mechanic Street to Merriam Avenue.
To keep the tradition lively, the city is inviting businesses and organizations to get involved.
Groups can join the fun by creating a float, marching in the parade, handing out candy at their Main Street location, or setting up along lower West Street to pass out treats after the parade.
“It’s fun to see children and adults dress up in costume, to see all the creative floats in the parade, and to witness the children trick-or-treating after the parade and enjoying all the activities provided by the local businesses.”In case of inclement weather, the parade will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26.
