CAIRO, Sept 28 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty stressed on Sunday that the Foreign Ministry remains the first line of defense for Egypt’s national interests, which requires the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and constant readiness from all its members. He outlined the key priorities of Egypt’s foreign policy on both the regional and international levels in light of his participation in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. He stressed that protecting the interests of Egyptian citizens abroad remains a top priority for diplomatic missions. These efforts, he said, contribute to enhancing Egypt’s global standing and reinforcing its interests on the international stage. He praised the role of Egypt’s Permanent Mission and Consulate General in New York for their efforts in serving the Egyptian community and Egyptian interests within international and UN platforms.
