The stage is set with three tall plants, cleverly brought to life by the lights in hues of orange and yellow, which reveal their fleshy tones. On it are five female dancers, static in several different poses, who slowly come to life. Careful observation of plantsSchilling does not deliver what she thinks the vegetal world would do if it could dance. She has painstakingly observed plants, and the dancers portray this with complete accuracy. A lesson in life for us all, and a very unusual project to convey it.
