Mere Court Hotel on Warrington Road, Knutsford, has applied to Cheshire East Council for permission to remodel and change the use of the coach house at the entrance to the site for leisure use for guests and visitors. A design and access statement submitted by Street Design Partnership on behalf of the applicant states: “The coach house building is currently used for meetings and conferences, as an ancillary use associated with the hotel. Cellular meeting rooms will be remodelled to form a gym, spinning, dance studios and first floor treatment suites. The report says all facilities will be for hotel guests and visitors and form part of the larger hotel complex.
