Fresh plans have been submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council to develop land off Albion Road in the town, which was previously used for parking at The Roebuck pub in Northwich. "It will provide a positive contribution to Northwich town centre as well as to the townscapes of the surrounding streets. "Benefits include an active street frontage along Albion Road which discourages anti-social behaviour; positive contribution to Northwich's regeneration by increasing housing in the town centre; improving the townscape of the town centre; and attracting development along Albion Road and the conservation area. "We feel the proposal would be a valuable addition to the area by providing high quality and well-designed apartments in Northwich town centre. "The site consciously addresses security and privacy, furthers pedestrian access to the town centre and creates a sustainable and connected community."
