The new units, on the corner of Kinderton Street and Brooks Lane, opposite the Boar’s Head pub, will replace one single unit which housed The Original Factory Shop until June.
Developer, Monktondean Properties, proposes to fill the four new units with a combination of what it calls ‘food-on-the-go’ outlets and retail businesses.
“The application site fronts Kinderton Street to the north where one of the access points is located, the second access being located on Brooks Lane.
“It is proposed the existing site accesses, parking, and general arrangement be utilised with resurfacing where necessary.
“This project would promote an existing vacant site to provide useful amenities and create job opportunities for the local population.
